Thank you for showing interest in being a key part of making the Texas Cup happen this year. Without experienced volunteers, we will not meet the expectations of our teams so your participation is key to us being successful together.

For the 2021 Texas Cup event in San Antonio, volunteers such as yourself need to know that we have planned for a safe event but we can not 100% guarantee that our event will be COVID-19 free. If you have not been vaccinated or are classified as being a high risk of COVID-19, we ask that you sit this year out and celebrate with us via our remote live feeds.

Furthermore, we are unable to accept any volunteer applications from anyone that has not already completed the official FIRST Inspires training and has completed the appropriate season training and have at least 1 year of volunteer experience for the role they are applying for.  This is restriction is solely due to the fewer volunteers that are permitted at the event this year. Don’t worry, we will see you soon at an event in your region to help you get more experience to join us at future Texas Cup events!

All volunteers MUST have a completed background screening with FIRST Inspires. Your application will not be approved unless you have a valid background screening from FIRST Inspires.

If you have any questions or concerns about volunteering at the Texas Cup, please contact Lucia Sevcik at [email protected] or by completing the Contact Us form.
